
Kelly Underhill
Kelly has trained in Minnesota and California for the past fourteen years. In that time she has successfully trained numerous horses through the FEI levels. Several of her horses have had top placings in the Horse of the Year Awards. Her students have achieved such awards as USDF Amateur/Young Rider of the Year and Championships across the country from Training Level to Intermediare I. In 2005 she was the Region 4 NAYRC Dressage Coach which brought back many memories of her own personal experience riding to a Team Silver Medal in 1997.
Kelly has schooled under such esteemed trainers as Henk van Bergen, Isabell Judet, Sandy Pflueger and Morton Thompson. She has appeared on the cover of Dressage Today. Kelly also has participated in numerous photo shoots and articles for Dressage Today, Practical Horseman, The Chronicle of the Horse, Hunter and Sport Horse, Midwest Sporthorse Journal and local GMO magazines.
Underhill Imports with the help of her business partner and friend Jesper Baek of Denmark has imported all levels of horses. Together their goal is to help riders find the horse of their dreams with a reasonable price tag. They specialize in all levels of Dressage and Jumpers on video or seen on a guided buying trip. Kelly also sells horses of all prices on commission or consignment here in the USA, including some imports.


Chris Underhill
Christopher has successfully shown in the hunter/jumper ring for the past 25 years. He has competed at indoors and throughout the east coast and Midwest. Christopher had a successful junior career placing him in the top ten at Harrisburg and earning a top seat on the Zone 6 1994 Young Rider Team.
Chris took some time away from riding to finish college and build a successful franchise at the Mall of America. During this time Christopher was introduced to Kelly through the training of one of his horses. They married and together have started both a training and importing business.
Christopher has trained horses to the top of the Hunter and Jumper world along with riders to Pony Finals, and Harrisburg. Christopher has a keen eye for horses and has selected some of the top hunters and jumpers in the country. He specializes in finding all level of hunters, jumpers, and ponies for the individual rider, making several trips to Europe every year. Stewart Underhill
Stewart began showing at a very early age and moved into the jumper by the age of nine. As he moved through his junior career he worked with notable jumper trainers such as Laura Kraut and Todd Minikus. While Stewart was successful in the jumper ring he was also training Dressage with his sister-in-law Kelly. Stewart maintained his amateur status for several years while he received a B.B.A. from the University of Iowa's Henry B. Tippie College of Business majoring in Finance, and Management Information Systems. Upon graduation Stewart began working with Christopher and Kelly at Underhill Farm.
Stewart has focused much of his training time on young dressage and jumper horses. He has been training his seven year old stallion McCartney HS with Conrad Schumacher, and has been invited to train in Germany at Conrad's farm. Stewart's latest project is the five year old gelding Cremont who was purchased in March of 2008 with only three months of saddle time.
